OPERATION: QUICK HELP

Our client/friend Cari had been trying desperately to get help while she's being treated for breast cancer.   She called a long list of agencies and organizations in her county, but was getting nowhere.  Another organization recommended she contact COMPASSIONATE HANDS AND HEARTS BREAST CANCER OUTREACH.  She's a single mom with two beautiful teenaged children.  We got to work on her behalf, immediately.  Because of our generous donors, we visited her and didn't show up empty-handed.  We were able to give her financial assistance to pay her power bill, a gas gift card for her many medical appointments, gift card for back-to-school shopping for her children and one of our signature gift baskets.  It was a fun and emotional day filled with tears, laughter and a grateful heart.  We left with her saying, "I feel like I can breathe for the rest of the month."

OPERATION: POSITIVE OUTLOOK

We had a wonderful day with our client/friend Marilyn, who's had two bouts with breast cancer.  Marilyn has such a wonderful attitude about how to fight on when life deals you the unexpected.  Marilyn is caring for two disabled brothers, so we thought she deserved to be spoiled for the day.  Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to present Marilyn with a gift basket filled with pampering products, jewelry and inspirational books.  We also provided her with gift cards for gas and groceries.  And we're pleased to report, she loved everything!  We've also arranged for house cleaning for her through one of our partner organizations, VANGUARD CLEANING.  She's very grateful for the help.
